- Health Summary
  Information entered by a practitioner during a consult is added to a patient's Health Summary.
- Consultations
  Record details of a clinical consultation in the Consult panel of the patient's record.
- Patient Timeline
  A summary of the patient's clinical history is displayed in the Patient Timeline.
- Medications
  Helix uses the MDref medications database provided by AusDI.
- Immunisations
  Before you administer an immunisation to a patient, check the immunisations that have already been administered on the AIR and the immunisations due.
- Allergies
  A patient's allergies can be added to their record.
- Chronic Disease Management
  Use the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) feature to specify care plans, cycle of care for asthma or diabetes, and GP Mental Health Treatment Plans.
- History & Examinations
  Record details of a patient's clinical history in the History section. Record details of today's examination of a patient in the Examination section.
- Measurements and Assessments
  Record metabolic, pathology and ECG measurements and other assessments in the patient's record as required.
- Recalls
  A Recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record that informs practitioners and practice staff of when the patient is due to return to the practice.
- Nursing Requests
  During a consult, add a request for a nurse to complete a nursing action.
- Obstetrics
  Record obstetrics information on the Obstetrics panel.
- Investigations
  Investigations can be requested by a practitioner from within a patient's clinical record.

      Practitioners can initiate a pathology test request for a patient during their consultation.
    - Edit and Delete Pathology Favourites
      After you have added useful tests to the pathology request Favourites list, you can edit them if required.

      From the Consult actions section you can print new pathology requests and delete pathology requests.
    - View Pathology Requests in the Timeline
      Pathology requests are listed in the Patient Timeline.

    Helix can automatically receive pathology and radiology results from ACL and Sonic Healthcare.

  Securely upload a patient's health data to their My Health Record.

Edit and Delete Pathology Favourites

After you have added useful tests to the pathology request Favourites list, you can edit them if required.

About this task

Edit or delete a favourite test group from the Favourites list.

Procedure

To edit an entry in the pathology request Favourites list:

From the Favourites list, select More options > Edit. You are redirected to the Edit favourite panel.

Tip:
To display information about the tests included in a test group, hover your mouse over an Information icon next to the favourite name.
In the Name of favourite field, update the test group name.

Tip:
To remove the test group from the list of favourites entirely, click Delete.
Add or remove tests:
- To add a test, in the Enter test name field, start typing its name.
- To remove a test, click Remove.
Click Save.

Results

The edited test group is updated in the Favourites list.
