Print Recalls

Practice Managers and Administrators can print recall letters that can be mailed to patients.

Procedure

  1. In the toolbar, select Message Centre iconMessage Centre > Recalls.

  2. Filter the list of recalls if required.
  3. Select one or more patient recalls.
  4. Select Print letter iconPrint letter and either Print only or Print and count as contact attempt.
  5. In the document preview, click Print letter iconPrint.

Results

If you selected Print only, the recalls remain in a New status and are marked as Printed iconPrinted in the Comments column. No contact attempts are recorded.

If you selected Print and count as contact attempt, the recalls are moved to a Sent status, they are marked as Printed iconPrinted & letter sent in the Comments column and a contact attempt is added. The status of the recalls in the patients' timelines are also updated to Sent.

When an urgent recall is printed it remains in the New list, and is marked as Printed iconPrinted in the Comments column.
