Helix can automatically send appointment reminders to patients via SMS.

Create appointment reminder rules for each centre.

The patient can reply via SMS to accept or decline the appointment. Helix flags the appointment according to the patient's response, or can cancel the appointment automatically if configured to do so.

To use SMS appointment reminders:

Your practice must be configured for SMS messaging. For more information, see Appointment reminders.
The patient must opt-in to receive SMS reminders from your practice.
