- Health Summary
  Information entered by a practitioner during a consult is added to a patient's Health Summary.
- Consultations
  Record details of a clinical consultation in the Consult panel of the patient's record.
- Patient Timeline
  A summary of the patient's clinical history is displayed in the Patient Timeline.
- Medications
  Helix uses the MDref medications database provided by AusDI.
- Immunisations
  Before you administer an immunisation to a patient, check the immunisations that have already been administered on the AIR and the immunisations due.
- Allergies
  A patient's drug allergies can be added to their record.
- Chronic Disease Management
  Use the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) feature to specify care plans, cycle of care for asthma or diabetes, and GP Mental Health Treatment Plans.

  Investigations can be requested by a practitioner from within a patient's clinical record.

  The tasks module allows users to send messages (tasks) to other users throughout the medical centre.

  Securely upload a patient's health data to their My Health Record.

Examinations

Record the findings of a single consultation in the Examination section of the Consult Notes.

Each Examination tab contains a number of categories where you can record your findings using a variety of controls. The content of each tab differs, depending on the patient's recorded sex.

Some data appears automatically if it was recorded in other areas of Helix.

Examination information is added to the Consult Notes and the patient timeline.
