Use Helix to record your patients' medical details and consultations.
- Health Summary
  Information entered by a practitioner during a consult is added to a patient's Health Summary.
- Consultations
  Record details of a clinical consultation in the Consult panel of the patient's record.
- Patient Timeline
  A summary of the patient's clinical history is displayed in the Patient Timeline.
- Medications
  Helix uses the MDref medications database provided by AusDI.
- Immunisations
  Before you administer an immunisation to a patient, check the immunisations that have already been administered on the AIR and the immunisations due.
- Allergies
  A patient's allergies can be added to their record.
- Chronic Disease Management
  Use the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) feature to specify care plans, cycle of care for asthma or diabetes, and GP Mental Health Treatment Plans.
- History & Examinations
  Record details of a patient's clinical history in the History section. Record details of today's examination of a patient in the Examination section.
- Measurements and Assessments
  Record metabolic, pathology and ECG measurements and other assessments in the patient's record as required.
- Recalls
  A Recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record that informs practitioners and practice staff of when the patient is due to return to the practice.

  During a consult, add a request for a nurse to complete a nursing action.

Reprint Nursing Requests from the Timeline

View nursing requests added during a consult in the Patient Timeline and reprint them if required.

About this task

Procedure

To view the items in the Patient Timeline section:

If a single or multiple nursing requests were made during a consult and printed, an entry is displayed in the Timeline when the consult is exited.
Click Nursing Request to expand the list, and display a read-only version of the Nursing Request panel.
To reprint the nursing request details, click Re-print.
The Nursing Request panel opens in a new consult with all the information from the original request. Make any changes and click Print to print it again.
