- Appointment Book

  - Create an Appointment for an Existing Patient
    This procedure is for patients who are already in your database.
  - Create an Appointment for a New Patient
    This procedure is for patients who are not already in your database.
  - Create an Appointment for a Provisional Patient
    If you don't have enough information about a patient to record all the minimum demographic information, but they still need to be attended to, create a provisional patient.
  - Create a Blocked or Unavailable Appointment
    Block out time in the appointment book to make that time unavailable for appointments for one or more healthcare providers.
  - Reschedule an Appointment Time or Date
    Quickly reschedule the time or date of an appointment by dragging it to a new appointment slot.
  - Change an Appointment Duration
    Quickly change the duration of an appointment in the Appointments book.
  - Telehealth Appointments
    Consult with your patient remotely using a telehealth appointment.
  - Viewing Future Appointments
    Helix allows you to view future appointments for a patient.
- Patient Queue
  The Patient Queue is a list of patients currently attending the practice.

Before you begin

Permissions:

View Appointments
View All Appointment Books

Your role must have the View appointments permission to view appointments.

To display future appointments:

In the Patient Information header, locate the Future appointments icon with the number of future appointments displayed in brackets.
To display a list of future appointments, click Future appointments.

Results

A list of future appointments are displayed with details.

If required, to print the list of future appointments, click

Print.
