About this task

When you run Helix for the first time, Agent requires updating is displayed at the bottom right of the screen to indicate that the Helix Agent has not yet been installed.

Procedure

To install Helix Agent:

Click Agent Requires Installation.
Download the agent to a location of your choosing on your computer. Make a note of this location.
To install the Helix Agent, locate and run the installation file. Follow the prompts to install the agent.
Click Finish.

Results

Once you have completed the installation, the

Helix Agent icon is displayed in your Windows Task Bar:

Connecting
Disconnected

What to do next

Run and login to Helix again. The

Agent available

Agent Available message is displayed momentarily to indicate that the Helix Agent is active.
